Clarification of data element descriptions: Diet Interview
Descriptive history: Diet interview data were collected during two `eras'
of the BLSA.
Approximately 912 men were interviewed about general food habits from
1961-1965 and another
2878 men were interviewed between 1968 to 1975.
Data collection methodology:
1961-1965: During the time of the first visit to the GRC, the participants
were interviewed by a
nutritionist about the their general food habits.
1968-1975: At the time of their testing visit at the GRC, the participant
was interviewed by the
nutritionist to determine his general food habits.
