The variable VISIT is, in fact, follow-up number. For this project, all should be either "1" or "2."
This information type is comparable to Medical History & Physical - Men, Information Type 001, Medical History, Information Type 801, Interval Medical History, Information Type 805, and Medical History & Physical - Women, Information Type 901. It differs from Follow-up Information Type 752 in that it is an update of data collected in the 1989-1990 Follow-up.
